  • I am not sure how much weight you are trying to lose but it is all a work in progress. I am surprised at my ability lately to pass up foods that I never would have done like free pizza at the bank today and a slice of pound cake in my refrigerator last night even though I was craving sugar so bad. I have a long way to go on this weight loss journey, but I think you will find if you attach yourself to people who are on here and are trying to reach similar goals they will provide a lot of inspiration. Especially in the exercise department. One thing I love about this is you can't cheat because if you do you are only cheating yourself so make sure you log everything and the numbers will keep you on track.

Discipline is the is difference between what you want now and want you want most.

I find that statement very helpful when saying "no" to those extra calories. I want fit and healthy most.

Hi all! I'm new to fitness pal, and discovered this site from my hubby. He has been using it for about a month now and loves it. We are doing a Keto diet, so we'll see what happens. This "losing weight" thing isn't new for us, since we've been overweight for most of our lives. It does help that we're both on the same program.

Good luck to everyone! Hope to talk to you soon ;)

Hey you can do this. One day at a time. Remove one bad thing from your life. Work slowly towards your long term success. Bless you and add me if you need a friend. Peace and Smiles
