Hi everyone! I just recently did a Zumba fitness class and since it isn't listed in the excercises, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what i should log it as!
Thanks!

i log my zumba gold class as aerobics, low impact. if you do the gular zumba (jumping, etc.), then maybe aerobics, high impact.
  • I always just categorize it as Dancing: Modern, Ballet.... I feel like it is a pretty accurate estimate.

I added it under my exercises, got calories burned from a wbsite where you put age & weight plus duration.

I usually categorize it as dancing, but it could be used as aerobic low impact or medium.

This and it is pretty accurate as far as I can tell. been losing just fine and other peoples zumba calories burned are pretty comparable. :)

I call it dancing, but use my heart rate monitor to give me my calorie burn.

I looked it up in Sparkpeople.com. I was surprised Zumba was not listed on MFP!

I looked it up on a website where you can put in your weight, duration of the class too :)

Just had my first class last night - I think I've finally found some exercise that I enjoy!
