So as the subject matter says- anyone know of any good makes/ types of footwear that are strong but supportive for circuit training, mine are on their last legs and weren't the greatest for that type of workout as they were generic sports trainers from sports world.
Any stores or trainer types that are effective for high impact circuit training?

Definately check out the Nike Free Runs .. i have Free Run 2.0's .. very lightweight and very flexible with great grip/tread too. I had some pretty average Nike cross-training type trainers before (quite rigid without much flex) and was forever getting cramp in my feet and toes .. but dont have that problem at all anymore0

Cheers for the reply, I had a look at them and wasn't sure about the support around the ankle for impact training using step ups and stuff but yeah for running they do look comfy may get a pair regardless0

If your circuits contain lateral movements, you should avoid running shoes, they tend to only support the foot front-to-back. Tennis and basketball are two sports that utilise lateral movement, so shoes designed for these sports tend to be supportive in multiple planes. I've got a nice pair of nike tennis shoes that provide great support when doing other activities.....0
