Can we talk shoes?

I need some good shoes for cross-training. I'm going to get fitted for running shoes in a couple weeks but I also think I need to get a good pair of shoes for doing my Jillian DVD's and walking and other exercising. What shoes do you have and love? I'm also looking for shoes that help with plantar fasciitis. Thanks for the input!
Blessings,
Kerri

I have plantar fasciitis and had a gait analysis.
After trying about a dozen trainers, I ended up in a pair of brooks adrenaline GTS 12's. They are slightly structured and very supportive. I have gone running in my New Balance trail shoes and you can feel the difference in support.
My heal is more painful after running in the New Balance trainers. It doesn't flare up like it used to and I'm hoping it will be gone when I get into a normal weight range. Before I lost enough weight, I couldn't walk after running and it would hurt when I was actually running so I stopped for about 3 months and now it's nowhere near as bad.0
