Engaged!

We haven't set a date yet but I'm already worried if I wont be at my goal weight by the time I tie the knot.
I was wondering how I would be able to stay positive after all the stress that goes into planning a wedding
and being able to keep eating healthy.

Just be you on your wedding day, no matter what size. It's your day, it's hard enough to enjoy it because of all that is going on...do your best, you will remember being the most beautiful girl in the room that day anyways.
Congratulations!0 -
:drinker: Congrats!!!:drinker:
Stay on here more than the knot. We dont have a date either yet but I love to look at everything.
Lots of issues already and we're about 2 years out lol.
Happy planning and weight loss0 -

I kept telling myself... Even if everything goes wrong, I am still going to be married to the man of my dreams by the end of day! That's the real reason for the day anyway. Nobody really cares what the flowers look like or how the cake tastes. Congratulations!0

Big congrats to you and you H2B!!
I have the same panick, although our date is set... September 2010 so about 4 months to go!!!
I have lost about 12 lbs since November, and feel much better in myself, but would love to loose another stone!! My dress is gorgeous, and I do keep thinking about it.... I think, what if I dont loose any more weight..:ohwell: ... I also think of the dress when exercising to give me that extra push!!!
I have loved all the planning, and not actually found it too stressfull (touch wood), the way I see it, its just a great big party with all the people that you love... I cant wait!!! I agree, people are there to see you get married, so dont get too hung up in the details, try and keep things relaxed so you can enjoy the run up to what I am told is one of the best days of your life!!!

Congrats. I went through the same thing when I got engaged. It's sad but one of the first things I thought of was that I needed to lose weight before the big day. Then my future Mother in law told me I have enough to worry about with all the wedding plans so I shouldn't be concerned about my weight and I agreed with her.... and I didn't lose any weight. I ended up gaining about 7 more lbs. Ugh!!!0

CONGRATS!!
Don't become too fixated on a goal number, just keep eating well and exercise. That day is all about how you feel not a number on a scale.
The man at the end of the aisle is promising to love you no matter what! BE HAPPY and HEALTHY! :flowerforyou:0 -
Congratulations!
I would say focus on all the wonderful aspects of the engagement and getting married part and staying healthy. Stressing out will only lead to stress on the body and in my case, it only makes it hold on to weight for dear life. Live and let go, stay active and the weight should follow.0 -
I just want to thank everybody for the support!!! I'm just going to go with the flow and enjoy these moments.
Funny thing is I'm not really nervous about getting married just standing in front of so many people, I guess it's just
stage fright lol0 -
