The truth about 30DS!

So, Im looking to start the 30 day shred next week, I've done my research and read reviews and it does look quite appealing. I was wondering if anyone had done this? I'm soo out of shape and tend to walk/swim as oppose to doing an actual 'work-out' if you like. I've heard its a killer (I'm so bad, If something hurts or I don't see results within a week im out!) but I really want to give it a bash so...
What is it like?
How much did you lose?
It is hard to stick by? (especially for someone with very little will power like me!)
Was it worth it?
Have you kept it as a daily routine after the 30 days?
I know the only real way I'll find out is if I try it but I just want a little insight into what it was like for others! (:

I did the full 30 w/ no breaks. I lost 10 pounds, not sure of inches but its kinda like AA it works if you work it. I would recommend this program to anyone. Its like 27 min with the warm up and cool down, so no excuses about not enough time. I would recommend any JM video. I started ripped in 30 and love it even more than 30ds. Also have killer buns and thighs which is another awesome workout. Do it, you won't regret it!0

I started my weight loss journey with it. It's pretty tough for beginning but it works and just 25 min. It's absolutely worth yet the important thing is not giving up. Keeping it as a daily routine is up to u. I did 30DS for one and a half month. Then I try to change my workouts weekly. I lost 7lbs but change in my body was ore than that. Also in 'success stories' forum, there are lots of results.0

Do it! Sure it can get a little boring, doing the same thing every day, but it's always worth it. And she's adorable, and she makes the work out fun, and you feel good after you do it. I only lost three pounds and two inches, but within the first two weeks I was feeling lighter, thinner, and started getting the "have you lost weight?" comments at work. My scrubs are all too big for me now, with only those tiny changes! Seriously, do it. I did it in about 32 days (I think, so two days off) and I'm now doing Ripped in 30. It's much harder, but it's so worth it.0

I did 20 days. No loss since I was eating at maintenance, but my endurance was better and my arms got pretty toned. I'm starting up again on days I don't run this week.0

I am on day 2 of level 1 and it is pretty hard. Im used to sitting on my *kitten* and not doing anything s its seriously a big change. Does it hurt like a Bitc# ... yes it does but I know it's worth it even if I dont make a huge weight difference I know Im making a difference in my lifestyle.
Like you said the only way your going to find out is if you do it0 -
I did it and lost about 10 1/2 inches overall between my belly, waist, arms and thighs. I also lost about 5 pounds, which considering I'm so close to my goal weight, I figured was pretty good. I was very pleased with the results.
I will say that the first 3 or so days will be killer. You'll be very sore and you'll want to quit... but don't quit it's worth it in the end!0 -
I am on level 2 day 1.
when I started out my first week I weighed 180 pounds. at the end of my two weeks I went down 5 pounds to 175 pounds.
my previous measurements before starting were
chest 41 1/2
Waist 38
Thighs 29
Hips 47
my most recent measurements
Chest: 40 1/2
waist 37 3/4
hips 46 7/8
thighs: 28 1/4
this was the end of the level 1
I will measure again the end of week 1 level 2
as far as my weight I feel like I lost more weight want to wait to weigh in at the end of the week.0 -
I started with 30DS when I had done zero exercise. I did not like exercise, I didn't want to exercise, but I knew I had to. I chose this because it is only 30 minutes, and so many people got great results. Was it tough? Yes. But it really changed me. I didn't lose a lot of pounds, but I did lose inches, and it really boosted my confidence and fitness level. (I did not do it 30 consecutive days, I took rest days).0

I'm on day 5 and I take two days off per week. I also do some cardio (walking/running). I can already notice changes especially in my thighs. Between last Monday and yesterday, I noticed at least a 1/2 to a full inch difference on my thigh. I'm slower to lose weight around my midsection so I didn't expect change there. I have noticed my lower "pooch" getting smaller as well as my back fat.
If I, as fat as I am, can do 30DS, you can too. It's short. Just do it and get it out of the way.0
