THIS IS MY FIRST OFFICIAL WEEK ON MYFITNESSPAL.COM; I AM TRYING TO STAY WAY UNDER MY CALORIE INTAKE. WILL NEED ENCOURAGEMENT; SINCE I AM THE ONLY ONE IN MY HOUSE DOING THIS & LOSING WEIGHT:)

    Welcome. This is a wonderful. Remember to calculate your BMR and try to stay at your calorie goal, not under as in the long run it slows your loss down.

    Welcome!! I know the feeling, too. My husband eats whatever he wants and is skinny as a rail. I am the only one working on weightloss in my house, too. I have learned that DIET is a bad word. I'm thinking of it as a lifestyle change because DIETS don't work!! Just like megamom said, stay AT your calorie goal NOT under. Exercise affords you more calories. Good luck on your journey!! You CAN do it!! :)
