Protein bars: Calories vs. nutrition

Obviously people eat protein bars for the nutrition boost, but the flip side is that they are quite high in calories.
I like the taste of Tiger's Milk bars for 150 calories, but with HFCS they are really just a glorified candy bar. I ate Clif bars for quite a while but got REALLY burned out on those.
I am wondering what everyone's thoughts/opinions are on protein bars that are a good balance between calories and nutrition.

Not very nutritional. Usually high in carbs and sugar. And most of the protein is a variety of blends. I would suggest food or a shake.0
