Too Much Sodium = More Water?

I've been taking in too much sodium (likely due to my daily frozen meals for lunch, although they are among the healthiest ones available)...can I make it better by drinking more water?

Personally I would rather lower the sodium.
More water and potassium can help but only so much.
Try reducing your sodium by making your own frozen meals. Much better for you with much more nutrients and much lower sodium. Super easy too!0 -
I was always told increased water can combat high sodium. I still guzzle it down when I eat salty foods. But recently it was brought to my attention that a better choice is potassium to reduce sodium levels. So, eat a baked potato, orange, banana or some raisins.0

Normally I would, but was running short on time and pay day isn't until this coming Thursday...looking forward to finally making some homemade bread and tasty healthy things this weekend!0
