Hi All:
I joined MFP some time ago, but never followed through. No one wants to track the 5 beers they had after dinner, and so I opted for consumption over counting.
Since then, after watching my face bloat up, I have really become dedicated to my weight loss. I immediately started running again, cut down the drinking, and started tracking my calories. Now, I would love to gain some friends! I think getting involved with the community will really help me, and I want to offer advice and support to all of you too
! I've been a lurker for some time and am so inspired by every single one of you.
Anyone who wants to add me, please do!
Here's some background:
I've always struggled with weight, but in my 26th year I have suddenly found it harder to get rid of. I know that may sound dumb to some, but there's been a noticeable change and I soared up to my highest weight this past Holiday season. I used to run but hadn't in a year, so I have begun to curb my eating, watch what goes into my body and exercise regularly. As of this morning I am 150lbs and would like to become 140 before June 1, then continue on from there.
Current Workout Plan:
Run 4-5 Miles every other day, currently at a 9 1/2 - 10 minute mile on average.
On off days, perform a 30 minute circuit training focusing on arms, back, chest and abdominal.
I look forward to getting to know you all as we move forward on this wonderful quest toward health together.
