My new scale is mean :(

My old electronic scale was behaving odd, bringing up errors etc despite trying new batteries... so I bought a new scale, same make but a different model, one that is meant to be the most accurate they make, but then when I weighed myself the next morning (as usual) my new scale gave me a shock - I am 6.5 lbs heavier than my other scale read.. I was hoping maybe it was all water weight so I went for a 7 mile walk expecting it to be gone the next morning, but no.. my old scale was clearly on the blink

Do not worry about the absolute number on the scale. Every scale reads different due to lack of accurate calibration. Monitor the trend on this new scale and you will see that you are still losing. Just get used to the new number and go from there. You would be happy if all of a sudden the number was 6.5 lbs less but this would not be a good representation of weight loss - just a scale difference. So... don't get mad when it reads more as it is the same issue.0
