Boston Marathon 2014

I feel like the best way to get through this as a country is to continue doing what we do. We need be brave and united, therefore, I have every intention of running the marathon next year. Whose with me? Shall we start a group?

Boston is an awesome race, I've had to good fortune of running it twice. You either have to qualify by running pretty fast (helps to be older) or get a charity slot which usually requires ~ $4K of fund-raising. That said, Boston should be on everyone's bucket list, they way the city embraces the race and runners is truly amazing.

I agree with arc. I too have had the good fortune to run Boston - once. After that, I said I wish every marathon runner can experience Boston for the reason arc said - the way the city embraces the race and its runners is simply amazing!

:drinker: I totally agree!! I will never be Qualified to run a Marathon of any type, and Especially not one like Boston. But I will be Cheering for all who are able to Run it!! If there is No Race, or if it is Fundamentally CHANGED because of the attack yesterday, then "They" have Won -- No matter who "They" turn out to be!
