Recently i bought a new scale..
This one to be exact:
http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Bathroom-Capacity-Sense-On-Technology/dp/B003ATS2QC/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1366142526&sr=8-6&keywords=scale

Every time I step on the scale I get a different #. Not drastically different but like.
The first time it will say 169.5, then it will say 173, and then it will be like 170. Why does it change like that in a matter of seconds? I always make sure I stay completely still when on it.

It was bothering me so I went ahead and ordered a different type of scale..
This one to be exact:
http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/health-o-meter-mechanical-dial-scale-142kl/ID=prod5387249-product

Now when I stepped on this scale it told me that I weighed 180.

I'm very confused as to why all these scales are giving me different #'s. Has anyone had this happen? Or any advice you can offer to help?

Thanks.

Yeah. that happens to me all the time. I don't know what the solution is except to look for a downward trend. If the trend goes the wrong way, I cut back a bit on calories and exercise more, that usually gets it to go back the other way.

PS I never ever starve myself. When I say a bit of a cut back it's like 200 calories and exercise is like another 300 calorie burn in a day. So nothing drastic.

My scale was doing the first thing you described when the batteries were low. That being said, you should only be using one scale to weigh yourself. So pick one and stick with it.

    Always use the same scale.

I have digital scales that are sensitive to how flat and solid the floor is so I go as far as placing them on the same bathroom floor tile before I weigh myself. They are digital. Before that I have old analogue ones and they weighed a good half stone lighter than the digital ones!

thanks you guys! I'm not trying to use 2 scales. I'm probably just going to stick with the first one!
