The first class I tried out at my uni's gym was called body conditioning which involved some form of circuit training and I ended up crying and having a crap time. That was back in August last year.
Today, I went to a new class - Boxercise/Circuits which combined boxercise and circuit training. I LOVED it - burned calories and had a fab time (even though I was in a bit of pain - think I've hurt a muscle in my right glute, but that's besides the point).

However, I was SO proud as I managed to do 30 seconds straight of tricep dips and 30 seconds straight of skipping without cracking (mentally or physically). I know my arms are going to hurt tomorrow but I'm looking forward to it...hopefully take away the pain in my right glute :tongue:

Push yourselves everyone and embrace new challenges - I did, and I feel amazing :smile:

    Well done you great you have found something you enjoy and no doubt a great burn too! Take it easy if you have pulled something though you don't want to be out of action for months take it from someone who knows! 5.5 months with no exercise due to injury now I listen to my body. Well done.

    Yeah, I'm taking it easy tomorrow and just going for a light walk to get in my exercise. Been a bit sedentary with uni assignments and such recently so taking any opportunity to get out of halls and exercise - good for the mind too :smile:
