Body Bugg and loggin

I am using the bodybugg to track my calories burned. I burn between 1800 to 2000 calories a day. My calorie intake for MFP is 1300 a day. I have been logging in the difference as my exercise. I am not sure if I am doing this right.

Calories burned 545 and this is what I will log into my exercise.
Can anyone tell me if this is the right way to do this. The bodybugg is great however their food diary sucks and I like to use MFP instead. I was told if I have a <500> calorie difference I would lose a lb a week.
I am now confused....

I believe the calorie goal MFP gives you already factors in that the average person burns about 1400-2000 calories on an average day...
That's why it only has you log additional exercise.
For example: My net calorie goal is 1500 calories a day. ( I want to lose one lbs a week. 3500 calories = 1 lbs. 500 calorie deficit a day X 7 days a week = 1 lbs a week)
I log my exercise - 434 calories burned for 60 minutes of spin.
If I only ate 1500 calories that day... my deficit goes up to 934 calories for the day, my net calorie intake is only 1066 calories.
Essentially, MFP calculates that I burn 2000 calories a day on average. So my net goal is 1500 calories a day to create a 500 calorie deficit.
So if your net calorie goal is 1300 calories and you set MFP to lose a lb a week. MFP calculated that you burn 1800 calories a day on average already. You don't have to subtract those calories.
If you exercised more than average and burned 2000 calories. You COULD say you burned 200 extra calories and put that as exercise in your MFP. This would make your net calorie intake 1100 calories.
So if you burned 1845 one day and ate 1300. You could put 45 calories burned into your exercise to get your net calories for the day.
545 is your calorie deficit, not your exercise.

The extra you add will depend on what activity level you set MFP to. Id set it to sedentary. Go to My home and goals and on the right side it says calories burned from normal daily activity. You need to then add any extra you actually burnt.
Eg if it says 2000 and you Bodybug says 2600, then you need to,add 600 in as exercise.
You will have set your weight loss to show the deficit. Eg in the above eg, if you set it to a pound loss a week, you calories to eat will be
2600- 500 = 2100
