tracking question

I issued myself a challenge today to do 500 bicycle crunches and 500 reverse crunches. I have completed them but I spread them out throughout the whole day doing 100 here and 50 there. I have no idea how long the actual exercising took so my question is how do I track it? I worked up a sweat multiple times and I am really feeling the burn, but I don't want to over or underestimate how much I actually burned or how long it took. Any advice?

**I don't have a heart rate monitor or any other tools to help calculate. I kinda just assumed I could use the number of reps and sets. I didn't realize length of time was the only way to track on here.
