Yes. Because MFP sets your calories at a deficit to start out. If you don't eat them back...or some of them...you are creating what may be too large a deficit, which can make loss slow down or even stop. Not good. So yes...I eat them, happily!0

Yes, I eat them. I want to make sure I'm fueling my workouts, and preserving muscle tissue while I lose weight. Plus, I know I can stick with a deficit for longer if it's fairly small--I don't like being hungry.0

Yes, always have. Lost all my weight that way and have kept it off doing it.
I only used MFP's numbers, too.

Yes, I have an open diary, take a look! My settings are sedentary and I do use a FitBit too. I've lost 18 pounds this year so far, that is in 16 weeks. I figure I am moderately active but that would be without eating calories back so I set to sedentary and eat them back instead.0
