How to know how many inches to lose?

Hi

I am wondering how to figure out how many inches I need to lose to have a flat stomach? Right now I measure about 35inches but I have no clue if I need to lose 5 inches or 10 inches or 15 inches to get a flat stomach.

Is there a formula or something for this?

    You don't need to know before it happens. That is impossible. Just eat healthy & exercise.The inches will come off.
