I have a dilemma

Sis wants to do a speed workout tomorrow and I normally have a long run on Thursdays as well when our run club goes out.
Since I had a race Sunday, i took Monday as a rest day and so pushed my training back a day. I normally swim Mondays, lift Tuesdays, either swim or run Wednesdays, run Thursdays outside (when weather permits and when guide's available) and if I don't run Thursdays will have weights/treadmill run that day as well and Friday is either rest day or swim.
Since I took Monday off, swim was today and was planning weights for the morning but sis just texted me and asked if we could go for a short speed workout but we're still going to cover 4-5K in that time. With that in mind should I still do weights in the AM (upper body) or should I wait until Friday for the weights?
