Post a Photo of Your Food Temptation in the Trash

Options
Some members of our weight loss group did this on our Facebook page & it's been a lot of fun. Take that cheat food that you have stashed in your house somewhere...pull it out, dump it in the trash, take a photo of it & post it on this thread. If you still have a Stupid Phone (opposite of a Smart Phone) like I have, or don't have a camera (me neither), then tell us what you just threw in the trash. If it's in a container, make sure to empty it out into the trash.

I eat everything I want, nothing is a cheat. I eat chocolate bars on a regular basis and am currently eating a homemade white chocolate chip cookie (my 5th one of the day, haha)

Well, all things in moderation & no, food isn't the enemy. However, think almost everyone has some kind of food that tempts them more than others, that once we start on, it's hard to stop. And yet sometimes we insist on keeping some around. Just trying to have a little fun with it & provide some encouragement.

You can put my string cheese in the trash once you pry it out of my cold, dead hands.

Sure, I eat an entire packet for lunch once every couple weeks or so, but I make it fit my cals!

What a glutonous, Western, waste of food and terrible idea.

How about, if you don't have the will power, not buy it all?

Or if you want to get rid of it, pass it onto a neighbor or friend who isn't tempted.

Luckily for me, poptarts are a rare delicacy here in Oz, but even though I don't eat processed sugar, I would be staring that box down! The only thing that stops me in the supermarket is the special "overseas" section (tiny shelf space) where they have weird English cereal etc - there they have a lonely single facing of Dr Pepper. Light beams down upon it, angels sing.... I cannot look away..... ;)

    Agreed.

This also makes me think of "advice" I saw given on pro-ana sites (I did an assignment on them in uni) for throwing food in the bin and covering it in dishwashing soap to stop you from being tempted to fish it out again. Such a mentally unhealthy idea.
