Should I be concerned?

I lost roughly 16lbs in the last 6 days, almost 10 of it in the last two days. This is with getting enough calories and sometimes even going over. I thinking it may be a bit of a fluke that might pass because..

a)I actually think I may have a very active metabolism, but have just been lazy and over-indulgent. I was fat, but probably should have been fatter with my lifestyle. Even eating my recommended amount and logging my exercize I was losing much quicker than 2lb/week
b)I just came off a 3 day road trip where I stopped counting and indulged. Did I possible kick my metabolism into overgear
c)I have arthritis and the past 3 weeks have not been painful and so I have not been as active as before. I still go for 30 to 60 minute walks, but have only been able to go 3 or 4 times a week. I was on week 6 of c25k before this bout hit. Muscle shrinkage?

Still that's a lot of weight in a short period of time.and I'm wondering if I should be concerned (book a doctors apointment) or wait a bit and see if it slows down.

    what is your daily goal for calories?

    You're fine. Not only are scales inaccurate, a loss in 'weight' doesn't mean it was a loss in fat.

    I bet in a few days time, a good few of those pounds will return.
