pre-workout/post-workout meal

Hey MFP,

Yesterday I noticed that I got a "hunger" headache about 2 hours after my workout... I had breakfast and ate lunch about an hour afterwards but still ended up having to take a Tylenol to ease my headache... I had energy outta this world and I also noticed that if I moved around just a bit I could work up a good sweat almost instantly.... The headache wasn't really bad i just don't like them and it was different for me because I usually only get headaches around my cycle or when I don't eat.

SOOOO..... what are some pre/post workout meals I can do so I don't use all my fuel? Because thats how I could explain it, It was like when I ate lunch I didn't eat anything....

Anything special or do I need to just simply eat some thing a bit heavier than a 120-150cal protein shake?
