wowza! Today I decided to combine all the things I will be doing in my half triatlon to see how far I need to go.. I started off the morning my with usual 30 min kettlebell class, then heading to my gym for a 40 min spinning class, jumped right off the bike and onto the treadmill for my 2km run -took me 15min :( , then changed and did my 200 meter swim in the pool (my goal is to do it in 3min and i did 3 :30 )

If someone would have told me in October that 8 months from now I would be practicing for tri's I would have said they are CRAZY!

It just goes to show that little steps really add up and even if you can only walk right now, who knows where you can be in 8 months or a year or however long it takes you.

I can't wait until my race next month to not only show off how good my body looks, but how strong it is also.. I can't imagine doing the race 40 lbs heavier like I was lol

Anyway I hope this inspires others to keep at it because little victories make a difference! and sometimes you need to celebrate things other than the scale going down!

Well today I am getting a massage b/c I have worked hard all week and damn I deserve it lol!

Thanks everyone!

The moment you cross that finish line is going to be a very special moment to you. It's so hard to explain, but you'll be in your own little world. All the hard work you're putting in will show you that yes, you can do exactly what you put your mind to. Good luck with the tri. Be careful, though. Once you do one you'll be hooked and wanting to do another, then another, then . . . .
