Low cholesterol diet.

Hi again guys!

So, to cut a long story short, A friend of mine has just been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, she is healthy fit and seemed fine health wise. I, however, am over - weight with below average fitness level (I have upped my exercising since the start of this year!) and now alarm bells are ringing, Im thinking that my sugar levels are probably higher than normal (I have a doc app this week to check) and my excersize could be a lot more vigerous! I would just like to know if anyone has tried a low cholesterol diet or been diet controlled diabetic - what do you eat etc to sustain your sugar levels? How do you maintain it? What foods would I steer clear of? Does anyone have a diet plan I could follow? What should my daily cholesterol intake be?

My diet isnt out of control, I have two meals a day averaging 500 cals each (I skip brekkie) and I have a few snacks in between but im usually under my calorie limit.

My main downfall foods are pasta, eggs, cheese but generally I eat healthy.

Any advice?
