Changing Goal Weight, Is It the Best Idea

I started with wanting to lose only 10 lbs. Yay for me...did it. Then i changed for another 5, and another 5. Now down 20, very happy. I would like to lose 2 more lbs to say I am at 135 lbs. But I am still thinking I should go another 5 lbs. I still have fat on me. I have a friend who says I also need to be realstic and that my weight should be an attainable maintenance weight. I see her side for sure. I haven't been 135 lbs since before i was married, 15 years and to be 130 I don't even remember...
Am I pushing my goal weight farther and farther to set my self up for failure?

It definitely can be a nasty cycle. Obviously you are in the healthy range but your body image may still be seeing you in the 150s. Just make sure if you continue to lose weight it is healthy- eating enough calories, being sensible about excersizing.
Have you tried strength training? Maybe if you firmed up your "fat" you would be happier about the number on the scale.
Good luck!0
