Down 5"?! My first success story!

My 6th personal training session was last night...

In my 1st ever training session, my trainer got me to do a 10min kickboxing "warm up"...when I was finished, I nearly fainted! Last night I spent the entire 45 min session doing kickboxing non-stop! (I did have a couple of super-quick water breaks but that's it!) My trainer even looked at me and said "not bad!"... which I see as being "awesome" in personal-trainer language! Lol

My endurance has definitely kicked up and I feel much stronger than before. I have not lost any weight - in fact, after my first week I had GAINED 3LBS....and since then I have lost 2...but I am down 5 INCHES in total!!! Approx 1inch off of 5 different spots on my body (bust, waist, hip, thigh, calf)...so it's coming off evenly :)

I am seriously hoping and praying that the next time i go to buy jeans that I will be at LEAST 1 size smaller!! (My bday is 2 weeks away...so hopefully by then!)

I'm going to send everything into high gear and I will be lowering my cals by a bit (from 2000 average, to 1800...we will see how it goes), working EXTRA hard at the gym, and upping my cardio in my spare time.

[In case anyone is wondering - to achieve these results over the past 5 weeks I have been going to the gym 4-5 times a week doing varied workouts including LOTS of lifting, body weight exercises (lunges, pushups, planks, crunches....), cardio (box jumps, jumping jacks, mountain climbers..as well as some treadmill/stair master/spinning). My calorie intake has been between 1900 - 2300, trying my best to include as many veggies and fruit as possible...I definitely did not skimp on the a&w chubby chicken burgers though...lol]

What I learned: lose the scale and grab the measuring tape!!
