Fastest cure for blisters?

I've got some nasty ones right now...I realize an ounce of prevention/ton of cure, and I'll look into getting new shoes, but right now I just need to get my feet back into shape so I can go to the gym. I tried to tough it out today, walked 1.5 miles and at the end my shoes and socks were soaked with blood, uuuuugh.

I only have some 'east european granny science':
pop them with a clean needle and put some of that white skin that's stuck inside an raw egg shell on them(no idea how to describe better)
