I love Chocolate PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter with green apple slices. The PB2 is only 45 calories. I hope this helps.

One 6-oz carton of fat free/sugar free vanilla yogurt mixed with 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder = 100 cal. It's good and satisfying, plus nutritious, unlike many of the processed dessert snacks.

My two things are frozen green grapes!
They taste sooo good, not rock hard frozen, like in the freezer for 4 hours are the best, or if they are rock hard take them out and let them sit for 15min first!

2nd thing is chia seed pudding,
I make it with coconut light milk, vanilla, and agave nectar or unsweetened almond milk with vanilla and agave nectar!
  • I try not to eat too may sweets but when I have to have something, it's either a honeycrisp apple or a tablespoon of semi-sweet mini chocolate chips. I do keep a bar of dark chocolate around and will eat a little square sometimes. I'm never tempted to eat more than I should but it might not be a good idea if that would be a trigger for you.

    Frozen bananas hit the spot.

Or blend some vanilla coconut milk, bananas and strawberries with ice :)

Ok this is gonna sound crazy. But lately, I make a batch of 5 minute oats and I put a tablespoon of nice cold jelly in the center. I enjoy the mixture of hot and cold, the sweetness of the jelly helps with the cravings, and it takes longer to eat, so by the time I'm done, I'm full and satisfied. Full from oatmeal, which lasts!

I usually find that an assortment of fruit can satisfy my sweet tooth. Melon, honey dew, pinapple and grapes. I purchase the fruit precut. I realize this is more costly but I have very strong cravings for sweets and find the ease of access to fruits helps me fight off the urges.

By keeping track of the foods I eat, I'm also able to compare the calorie cost of diffent choices. I'm thus encouraged to avoid having too many sweets in the house.

Chocolate, I usual have multiple bars in my fridge (yum, cold chocolate) but not dark chocolate cause that tastes gross.
Iogo Yogurt with frozen raspberries (gotta be frozen)
    Homemade white chocolate chip cookies
  • 60cal dark chocolate piece, of course. :P
  • if u love some wings i have a great calorie busting swap, instead if wings u can use boneless skinless chicken breast cut into chunks. soak the pieces in skim milk than pour off the excess milk and just smother the meat in all the spices u like. now at this point you could deep fry it, (there isnt that much oil left on the chicken because its skinless) or you can bake in oven on parchment paper. once the chicken is cooked, dip it in your fave hot wing sauce. now i like to to pop it back in the oven to cook the sauce in, but my hubby likes them wet so its up to your taste. than eat it with light blue cheese or ranch dressing ( i like to make my own but u can just by some. (dont forget the celery and carrot sticks to cool it down.

and yup i know you didnt ask for the tip so i guess i got caught up! lol!!!

  • Any time i'm having a sweet tooth craving or anykind of boredness craving I go for coffee with fat free creamer coffeemate creamer. If its later in the day I go for decaf. But not everyone is a coffee person!
