I am so ashamed of my inability to control my impulses in regard to food. I just had a Flaming hot Cheeto. I have been craving them for 4 months now but i just could nor resist any longer. I am trying to be good and log it but i can't figure out how many calories are in one cheeto. This is probably because i am so distracted right now because of my feelings of inadequacy. As i am a complete failure is there any way you could help me to find out how many calories are in 1 cheeto?

Thanks, you’re the best.

Better put it down as 300. Just to be on the safe side.

There are 7.619 calories in a single flaming hot cheeto. I calculated this by looking up the nutritional information which told me there are 160 calories in one serving and a serving is about 21 pieces. 160/21=7.619.

Good luck with your diet plan. It may help if you have a cheat day. I had a friend who followed a strict diet 6 days of the week, but on the 7th she could eat what she wanted. This helped her from caving into cravings because she knew she could have it on the 7th day. It also helped her lose about 20 lbs!

WOW.........I was not expecting a real answer. Amazing. 7.6 huh. Is that the big Cheeto or the small ones?
  • There are a TON in the database. I'd just have a look through it, but it's coming up with 12 calories per large Cheetos for me.

You are being way too hard on yourself. A healthy lifestyle is just that - a lifestyle, this means that you may have good days and bad days and one little slip every now and again is not going to break the bank. Remember - it's the long game you are playing. I have been an emotional eater for many years and have had to work hard to break the cycle of feeling upset, eating rubbish, feeling guilty which then starts the whole upset, rubbish food, guilty equation off again. Onwards and upwards Sir!!!
