Running uphill....

I live in the french mountains, and since the snow has started to subside have taken up running again. I run 5 times a week, for 45mins, and been doing this for nearly 2 months now. My location provides some fantastic scenery, and some fantastic trails, however, the descent in running is no problem for half my run, it is the running back up that I cannot do! I have tried to set myself markers along the way, run to a tree, then run to the big rock etc etc,but find myself walking at a fast pace. Has anyone got any tips for running uphill at a sustainable pace?
Any advice would be appreciated!

personal i believe that on the hill, even you are not run, but walk, is very strong, cause the high elevation level is very hard for your body, even in the down the body pressure is very high.
I Envy you, you have a nice scene to make your workouts..... here in the city i am we have not this, the mountain i live is full with houses and no trees....0 -
Shorten your stride a lot. You take small steps quickly and sort of push off like riding a bike. Stay on your forefoot and lean a little forward. On steeper hills I am mostly on my toes only.0
