I shared my story in the post title "3 wks in, down 10 pounds. Feeling good! What's your story?" so if interested you can read it there! I have about 85 pounds to lose and I have found that hearing and reading other people's stories has been incredibly motivational for me. If anyone would like to connect, I'd love new friends!

Wow! Thank you so much guys! I'm excited to add all of you and see how your weight loss progresses!
Keely - I literally just did a 180 with everything I was doing. I have been exercising in the gym 5 days a week and now eat low-calorie healthy meals. I have researched recipes that are tasteful and filling so I don't feel like I'm being deprived. For example, I make a cauliflower pizza where the cauliflower is the crust. You can top it with whatever you'd like! It's so good and much better than normal pizza! Let me know if you'd like the recipe. Happy to share. I've also made stuffed red peppers with ground turkey, topped with reduced fat mozzarella cheese - just things like that! I try to get in variety as variety is what keeps me from getting bored. I still have SO MUCH to learn but just researching really helps. Eating healthy gets expensive but if you visit a farmers market, you can get a lot of produce for very cheap. I also research, healthy, low budget meals - that helps too! I was also a daily soda drinker and I completely cut that out as well. I have quadrupled my water intake and pretty much drink nothing but. I have the occasional diet green tea when I crave something with flavor but it's usually just water. I really think that first week, losing 7 pounds, was due to the elimination of the soda, and the junk food and a general cleanse of my body and the toxins in it. It was drastic, for sure, and I definitely didn't believe it at first but I really think it was just because of the huge flip I did with my eating and exercise habits. I've since slowed down to about 2 pounds a week, but I'm okay with that, it's a healthy loss.0
