Happy Friday Pepper's,
This has been the worst week. I have gone over calories 3 days in a row. I think it is Aunt Flow she messes me up everytime. I am not stepping on the scale this week very bloated and it will just depress me even more. So just keep me at 197 and I will adjust next weigh in. I am not doing this any more.
I had a long talk with myself this morning :laugh: and I keep saying this week will be different and today I really mean it. I feel horrible and know how out of shape I am. I will not have sweets for a few weeks until it is all out of my system, once I have it I tend to over do it.
New Goals
Drink lots and lots of water
NO SWEETS
exercise 30 mins everyday
no going over calories
3 veggies and 3 fruits daily

Had Derby practice lastnight IT was tuff! never knew taht I could hurt all over at once and the bruises are crazy! Had so much fun though and I am sweating it out.

well it's adding up I am so out of focus!! went to the gym last night first time in 2 weeks and my heart was just not into it AGH!!!!!!!!!!! Well weight in at 250 oh yeah its a n increase0

Congrats to those w/losses. For those maintaining or weight gain, we'll try again.
Saturday my military unit weighed me at 170.75.
Passed my Air Force fitness test.... in one minute did 42 push ups, in one minute did 46 sit ups and ran the 1.5 mile run in 14:20 (that's a 9.4 minute mile).
I had gained 10lbs from last test and 1 inch on waist but heck,.... I passed. Didn't screw my back by running way too hard/fast. However, I'm not cancelling my post fitness test massage. Autumn, she's soooo good. Finds every muscle knot. It's a hurts so good kinda pain. Sick huh!0 -
Hiiiiiiii everybody! The weekend is over and I survived!! I am so very proud of my boys and both celebrations went well! We have food left, but it will all freeze well, and lots will be shared with family too. Took this am off from the bus route, so will be getting things back to order....at least starting!
My wt last Friday was 198.4 and today was 197.2, I don't even know what it was the week prior, but a gain from 2 weeks ago. I am determined to get back on track again, and get serious. I really want to get jogging again and feeling better mentally and physically.

Well I did ok over week end. I stayed with in calories on saturday and Sunday did 3 hours yard work. My shin splints were so bad last week I just wanted to cry every step I took. Saturday I decided I would buy new sneakers with more support and so far so good not as much pain. I really am looking for some kind of a loss this week so I will be walking every day and no sweets.
:drinker: to the pepper's who had a loss. The rest of us will get there we are seeing better weather, so burn some calories.

SO this weekend was a total bust. So heres to a new week and getting refocus. Spent Ssaturday night into the morning at the hospital with my Aunt nothing majoir but an eye opener. For the most part she was treated well but comments and looks were made because of her weight. My soster and I bouth were like OMG we so need to get serious. We both so do not want to have to be taken care of becuase of our weight. So starting today I am going to start recording again and get to the gym again0

Did my walk and most of the pain was gone with the new sneakers.
Jacque, I know what you mean. Over the week end I was helping my mother in law (she is a nurse), she took me to a couple that was bed ridden and one was very over weight and had to be taken care of and her husband is sick and bed ridden. I dont want to be like that, it was so sad. Got me moving this week end and still going today. I know I will slip up but I know that was it for me.

Evening all..... sitting in my car at sons baseball game. Its raining....
Good thing is the concession stand is closed. I did have a yogurt & protein drink with me. Stuff I didn't finish at work. So no excess calories due to a soft pretzel no extra diet soda no money spendt.
Now game hurry up....apprx 1hr to go0 -

Good start today. did a couple of fights of stairs. Have some running around on lunch to do so only will get small walks and more stairs. :drinker:
Have not gone over calories in the last couple of days. I have not been totally good but not going over is making me feel better. I will try to make better choices today. I got my food at super market this morning so all set for work eating for the week.

OMG I so need some help. left work early yesterday to pick up soon to take to get xrays. fell hard off skateboard. He requested pizza and yes I ate like i was starving!! I ate a whole med pizza by myself. I have no idea what is going on in my head but i need to figure it out quick!!0

Forgive me I'm in a punchy mood - battling w/ex over custody issues is doing that to me. Just got off the phone w/my attorney. So, it was like a $35 call for approx 10 minutes. Earlier today I had to write a line by line response to legal document my ex had his attorney prepare. So, I'm a bit punchy..... trying to stay away from excess food....0 -

Well I managed to get 30 mins in while I was running around on my lunch. The elevator broke so I had to do 3 flights of stairs a couple of times today (fixed now).
Jacque, so sorry. I know I have been out of control and it is so hard when the rest of the family is not healthy eating. I won a few but lost more battles of the food. :flowerforyou: You can do this.

hey pepper team...hope you are all doing better than me....really struggling the last 2 days with all the left over food in the house. mostly cake and chips....2 of my favs. need to get back to planning my meals and l.o.g.g.i.n.g. *really*! I am going to the city tomorrow to return some things we did not use for our party. hope to get a few flowers for our deck and yard. I also took the afternoon off, so can take my time shopping instead of having to be back to drive.
well, I need to get serious, that's for sure. all these summer clothes will be way too tight to wear if I don't start NOW. I hate doing this to myself. gosh, just to not have to worry about what to wear and having it fit.....all *the*time! here's to getting back on track and losing some wt, toning my body with resistance and stretching, increasing my cardiovascular level and eating nutritious food for energy....do it.

Jacque ~ how's your boy doing? hope it will be all ok....hang in there girl.....just try to take on one day at a time. plan ahead as much as you can and try hard to stick to it. Cindy ~ sounds like you are going in the right direction now. keeping calories in check and gettin active. the two together = success! I really need to change for the better and get on with it! seein all the posts about exercise inspires me!!

well, I watched BL tonite, and it was a little helpful in the motivation dept. I just need someone to kick my *kitten* back to life...but I gotta do it for me, by me. c'mon SHGP, let's get back on track and do this. I have to say I am now focused. Last night (so proud of myself), I ate dinner no junk food at all, nice and healthy. I have been exercising every day since Saturday. Taking stairs too. Need to drink a little more water. But I am feeling the difference. Hoping for a loss this week. I think not having any sweets and cleaning my system helped me not crave them. I will continue this every week I want to loose this weight I am sick of my excuses. This is it all coming off.

hey all..... just saying HI! My hope today is to jog approx 1-1.5 miles and do curves.
Gotta keep up the momentum.... next year, my goal for my fitness test is 45 sit-ups, 40 push-ups and do a 9.0 min mile or less. All of this I can do.... What I need to do to pass the test is also have a waist measurement of 35.5 inches or smaller. That, my friends is the the challenge. I look at I have 12 months to go..... next test - May 2011.0 -

Barb - you got that no problem. You are doing great. I cant jog but my walking speed has increased last year at this time I was walking 3 miles in 35 mins, right now 1.9 miles at 31 mins, next week I will up it back to 3 miles. Starting slow.

Another sunny day, it only rained 1 1/2 days this week and I did my walk everyday. I think I am finally focused. I am loving the stairs challenge and I might try to do the stairs at work at least once a day (its 3 flights) have to go slow with the stairs because of my hips.

well, could not sleep any longer, so got up and did some stretching, squats and gave the upper arms a workout w/8 lb wts....before I had to drive. feeling pretty good today even tho the monthly visitor is just starting. had a clean breakfast and really missing my daily banana....:frown:
we have had some perfect weather here the last few days, guess it is gonna heat up and be muggy for the weekend....not liking that.:glasses: seems like we go from one extreme to the other. started some yard work yesterday.....and could be at it all summer, depending on the weather. looks like I will have most of my summer off from the bus. I have driven for baseball, since my kids were in it. this is the first year I will be off in about 8 yrs. kinda glad...I should have no excuses for not taking care of ME or my house work! Oh, and I turned down the Summer camp job. was not worth the time for the pay. next week all my guys will be at work during the day, so it's gonna be like the school year, but a little longer for my *alone* time, to 9 hrs now.

Hey all.. no court for me in morning yet...the attorneys did a document for judge's signature.
My legal fees did not stop... today's documents was just the next step... there's more to go.
I did take my kids to a chinese buffet & most of the food had NO interest to me.
I had a small plate and soup. Of course I had a small amount of soft ice cream. Overall, it wasn't a big dinner.0 -
