My husband is changing from a job where it was business casual to a suit and tie.
If you need to wear a suit everyday, how many do you need? How often do you get them dry cleaned?

Start with two. Charcoal & Navy or black. Buy several different shirts and ties. Dry cleaning depends on the person.0

I wear a suit several times a week and I own three.
Black.
Black with gray stripes.
Tan.
I had to bring my wife shopping with me because, from a fashion standpoint, I am an idiot.
I probably have 15 different shirts and even more ties.
Changing around the shirt and tie combo really changes the entire suit.
If you are going to drop a bit of coin, splurge on shoes. Dress shoes suck but, you can get comfortable ones.
I prefer lace up's so both my black shoes and my brown shoes are Dockers.
Thick soles and comfortable while still looking decent.0 -
Start with 2, but ideally he should have 5. A navy blue, navy blue striped, grey, grey striped, and a wild card of his choice. 5 suits with shirts and ties that he can mix and match should be more than enough.0
