Suit question?

My husband is changing from a job where it was business casual to a suit and tie.

If you need to wear a suit everyday, how many do you need? How often do you get them dry cleaned?

Start with two. Charcoal & Navy or black. Buy several different shirts and ties. Dry cleaning depends on the person.

I wear a suit several times a week and I own three.
    Black.
    Black with gray stripes.
    Tan.
I had to bring my wife shopping with me because, from a fashion standpoint, I am an idiot.
I probably have 15 different shirts and even more ties.
Changing around the shirt and tie combo really changes the entire suit.
If you are going to drop a bit of coin, splurge on shoes. Dress shoes suck but, you can get comfortable ones.
I prefer lace up's so both my black shoes and my brown shoes are Dockers.
Thick soles and comfortable while still looking decent.

Start with 2, but ideally he should have 5. A navy blue, navy blue striped, grey, grey striped, and a wild card of his choice. 5 suits with shirts and ties that he can mix and match should be more than enough.
