It's a weight training program called Stronglifts 5x5 (5 sets of 5 reps). I know many are very happy with that program. Google it.
I use the New Rules of Lifting for Women - a weoght training program also - and I love it. The approach is similar to 5x5, but has a stage or two where beginner lifters can adjust their body to the heavier weights. (Not sure if Sronglifts has that too).0 -
Strong Lifts 5x5. It is very similar to Starting Strength. I'm partial to SS as I just don't have enough gas in the tank eating at a deficit to do 5x5.
Both are excellent strength building programs and I will probably do 5x5 when I'm done "dieting" to get in some more reps...I just can't recover from that 5x5 on a deficit.0
