Marathoners...help with training

So... I used to be huge into running. (4 times a week, 5-10km)
Im back at it after having my baby and do 2 5km runs a week with a friend at lunch. (its a start!)

We've both decided to activley work on our goal of completing a half marathon next year!

Ive been doing bootcamp 4-5 times a week.. I honestly love my cross training/lifting ect...I really dont want to give it up...since i do pay 187 a month for it too!

I guess what I need to know is...how far in advance should we start training? (looking at seattle in june 2014. so really over a year away.) And when I do, will doing my bootcamp classes inhibit my marathon training results? I wouldnt want to lose the muscle and strength I have gained from that either...
