Finding it so hard to motivate myself right now

I'm finishing up my degree and (after tomorrow) I will have just three weeks of university left. Obviously it's a very stressful time period but I'm determined to try my best with my last efforts and get a decent degree.

Trouble is, I'm stressed out so I'm not doing any work BUT I'm also finding it incredibly hard to do anything for *me*, like going to the gym or running. I feel like I should be working on uni stuff the whole time and if I do push myself to go for a run, even if I've spent the whole day studying, I feel really guilty about not spending that time working... even if I actually spend only about an hour a day working on uni stuff and the rest of the time arsing around on random websites :/

To top it off we currently have no shower and the bath is massive so it costs loads to run one deep enough to wash properly in after a work out - fine for day to day washing but not good for sweatyness. I don't want to spend the next few weeks sedentary because it'll drive me crazy but I can't shake the negatives of exercise away!

I find it ridiculously hard to work on a 'do this for X amount of time and then you can have a reward' before anyone suggests that because I get fed up half way through and just cut straight to the reward... or I abide by the rules the first time round, get my reward and feel like I don't need to do any more.

Well with the situation with the shower... I don't know if I could do hard intense workouts and not shower immediately afterwards. But I've been in a similar situation. An example of how I dealt with it, Instead of 1 30 minute intense workout, I did 3 10 minute ones. And in the cooler part of the day or inside with ac. That way I didnt cake on so much sweat. Thats good for the sweat issue, however you wont be getting as much benefit as doing a full on 30 minutes. But really anything is better then nothing and a fantastic start to a healthy lifestyle. Eating simpler natural food helps, and combined with walking 3 miles or more a day I lost 100 pounds in a 2 year period. If you cant afford to wash off everyday after workouts, I'd at lest concentrate on the food youre putting in your body. But with the 3 way split, like I said the sweat shouldnt be too big an issue. Also, as far as weight loss, the %80 food %20 exercise holds true! So at lest you have that on your side!

How about just taking a walk and observing what you see. No other thoughts. no expectations. Stop when you want. it helps.
