19 pounds down...about 56 pounds to go

Well I'm about a quarter of the way to my goal weight. People are telling me I look smaller and I've had to give up two pair of jeans since I started. I still have smaller jeans so I can at least avoid spending money and having to wear a belt! This is my second time on the weight loss journey, about 5 years ago I lost about 90 pounds then gained 60 of it back. I never did make my goal weight then so I'm still trying now.
I put these pictures together for myself since I have a harder time seeing the loss in myself. The before pictures are from around Christmas since it never occured to me to take pictures as a way to track weight loss. I got that idea from everyone here at myfitnesspal.
This is just step one on an amazing journey. It's a difficult one as you all know but one of the best journey's we can take in our lives. Losing weight is so much more than just looking better, it's getting healthier and gaing strength and endurance too. Looking better is just one of the perks.
On the top photos the one on the right is now, on the bottom two the one on the left is now (in case it's not obvious).
Good luck to everyone taking this journey.
