Hi,
I am new and I don't understand when everyone is talking about "macros"....are those the goals you have on your food tracker?
LIke below?
Your Daily Goal 1,568 215 52 58 2,500 31 ......if so, I am really confused. My husband and I have been tracking this and I am ALWAYS over for sugar and protein.
Any good tips/cheat sheets explaining this?
THANKS!

You can (and should) go in and change your macros to accomidate a better dietary lifestyle. The numbers that MFP provides are pretty out of date and not very realistic. Go to you goals and customize your settings.0

Protein is fine to go over - MFP sets it low
Sugar - if it is natural sugar from fruit unless you're eating a bushel of fruit don't worry about it, if you're eating a lot of things with added sugar then you might want to cut back.0 -

Macros are protein, fats, and carbs which make up your daily caloric intake... go to settings and set up your macros according to your goals0
