It's one of my best friend's birthday dinners tonight and we're going here...

http://www.caravanofdreams.net/

She's a vegan. Now...I went vegetarian for lent and I found that the lack of meat made me eat more...probably more psychological than anything. I don't want to fall under the same trap for dinner, so...taking a poll.

What do you think I should have for dinner. The only thing I'm a little averse to is olives...actually..they're one of my mortal enemies.

Proceed...

How about eating a little something before you go? I know if I am going out to eat and I might over do it, I eat a little something before I go and it helps me from making mistakes I will regret later.....
  • mmm, looks good. i;m vegan and dieting and the best rules i stick to when meal planning are: always have a protein (beans, tofu, seitan, tempeh, hummus), low carb (so no pasta dishes, brown rice is better option), lots of veggies and fiber. this helps you stay full longer and eat less. based on these rules just pick the one with your fave ingredients. have fun!!!!
