Hi all,
I have met some amazing people on here and the support I have had is fantastic.. please don't be too harsh when giving me advice, I'm fragile :-)
So basically I haven't lost anything for two weeks now. I've been swimming 4 times a week (which is such an improvement from none) and the 5lbs I lost in the first week has thankfully stayed off.
So my question is for you... could anyone give me a few tips of what else I should be eating? Where I am going wrong? I'm from the UK so can't access American foods, so things I can get anywhere in the world will help :-)
Thanks in advance.

Hey Katie
Well flipping through a few pages of your food diary one thing I notice is a lack of fruits, veggies, dairy and proteins. Most especially the fruits and veggies which is really good fiber for our bodies. Not sure if you're not tracking your water simply on MFP or you're not drinking much each day but that's something really really important to do if you've not been doing it. Water can do some really wonderful things for out bodies.:drinker:
If you're not used to veggies and fruits in your day perhaps try adding in one of each every day for a couple days then 2 in etc. and as the weeks go on you'll have them in and it won't be any big deal, you'll be loving them and won't know how you ever went without them. Go for ones you enjoy then you can get experimental and try new ones!:drinker:
Fiber is super important to add in our food intake, it can come in many forms, whole grain foods, steel cut oats, brown rice, hearty grains, veggies, fruits etc. etc,. (you and I are buds, just let me know and I can help you out and get more specific, others helped me out in the begining and I'm more than happy to pay it forward!!)
Nuts paired with a fruit can be a great on the run snack/meal. PB/apple slices, carrots/apple slices etc. Perhaps try 5-6 small meals a day spread out and it'll help keep your metabolism reved up and your blood sugars on an even keel (meaning more energy throughout the day). For someppl it takes a few weeks to drop a bit, for others they drop weight right off the bat, everyone of us is different.
Water :drinker: water :drinker: water, keeping hydrated is a BIG DEAL, find what works for you, carrying a water bottle, when at home, having a glass of water at your side so you finish that up and snag another one.
Hope something I shared will come in helpful, (I realize you're in the UK, I'm in the US so if I misread a certain food, please forgive me, perhaps I misunderstood something as I wasn't familiar with some of them)
I think you're doing great a few tweeks and you'll see some huge changes Girl!:flowerforyou:
