I saw my trainer on wednesday we went through the next plan. It involves treadmill , lunges ,plank , mountain climber , crunches and the bike. In particular I've had leg pain and it stil hurts today on the 3rd day .
Should I still go to the gym? But I find it impossible to do the walking lunges. My legs always hurt after I do lunges I hadn't done lunges in a while.
Should I just skip the walking lunges? I don't want to take another rest day as that means I'll be behind in my gym schedule.
I have to run fast on the treadmill for the interval I don't know if my legs will be able to.
Or should I skip this workout and maybe go swimming instead or even do the last plan he gave me which involves weights and he did say at the start to do it once a week then changed his mind.

Is it soreness or a general achy feeling? If so, no. Just push through. Usually, believe it or not, it helps to keep working sore muscles.
If its actual PAIN though, I'd say yes.0 -
If the muscles are just sore from working out then I would push through. It will help and after getting moving you will find it eases off anyway. If, as I have, you have actually injured your knee then I wouldn't work out on it. I kept working on my for 4 days and I have really hurt it now. I couldn't stand on it when I got up yesterday morning so now I am defo out for at least another 3-4 days. If I had rested it straight away it would probably of been ok.0

If I did the lunges it'd be impossible to do them walking . I have to really force my leg holding onto a chair to do them. I can't do them without holding onto anything. But I can't really perform the lunge at all.
I must've really worked my leg muscles on wednesday lol.
Or if I do them will I do normal lunges instead and hold onto something? Or actually I can do the lunge halfway just not to the ground.0 -
Will I go gym and see how I go? and I can just skip the lunge if it gets too tough as I can go halfway.0
