Sorry guys, I knows it's probably gross for someone...Is there such a thing as too much sweat. I'm 47 years old, because of slightly thinning hair and not wanting to fling sweat to my lovely classmates, I wear a baseball cap to my Zumba class, I'd found out after my class, My caps is soaked and it's so much that it started to drip down from the brim of the cap, Is that weird?

Sound off please

    Bring a towel.

Or warn your class mates that they're in the splash zone at the Shamu show and they might want to wear waterproof clothing.

Sweat is fine. Just make sure you're replacing the fluids (and possibly electrolytes/sodium).

I'm more thinking about the 80's comedian that brings a sledge hammer to a pumpkin!

As I saw on one friends profile...

    Sweat is Fat crying.

If you're sweating profusely and then suddenly stop sweating in the same workout even though you are working at the same intensity...

THAT'S when it's time to worry.

No it's not weird. If you're not sweating, you may be dehydrated, which is bad. Replace it with plenty of water, but not too much, or you may end up with water intoxication. Takes a lot of water to get to that level though. If you're worried you're drinking too much water, have a Gatorade.

Not at all. More annoying to you than anything. Just keep moping it up as much as you can. I am amazed by people who finish our one hour BodyCombat class and are "dry". Either I am also a crazy-sweater, or they are just not working it like I am! I am drenched after. So, I say be proud that your efforts are so visual!

Excessive sweat is a sign of an efficient internal cooling system. You're fine just make sure you drink after.

Depends on the situation. In a Zumba class? No. At a cocktail event? Yes. In court? Yes. Meeting future father-in-law? Yes. Dating? Yes. Sex? It has to be just enough to glisten, but not enough to drip.

    That is good.

Sweating is good, keeps you from getting overheated.
Like others have said, when you're not sweating anymore but working just as hard, then you're overheating and becoming dehydrated.
