The Glute Guy - His exercises WORK!

I have been doing heavy squats and deadlifts for almost a year now, they have definitley made a difference but not a huge one. I ran across The Glute Guy - Brett Contreras' blog and liked the science behind his exercises so two weeks ago I started doing them. They work. Thats all there is to it.

Full (*kitten* to Grass) Squats, Deadlifts, BB Hip Thrust, BB Glute Bridge, Single leg BB Hip Thrust(!), Walking BB Lunges, Donkey Kicks, Fire Hydrants, Clams, Hyperextensions....Look him up, you wont be disappointed. It looks easy but let me tell you, its tuff!

Anyway, Just wanted to share this for the ladies who are looking to shape up for swimsuit season.

My measly 2-week proof. I cant wait to see what it looks like in 8 weeks.

    i've been saying all of these for years, but you don't necessarily need his blog
    you forgot fire walkers, plies, and lateral skaters

    but my booty is progressing fine just doing straight leg deads, split squats, and stairs.
    LIFT HEAVY.
    do your rep max testing people.

    Absolutely, the blog just has a lot of useful info for getting started. Heavy is the way to go. His method has just gotten me a lot further much faster. In two weeks I have seen more progress with his methods than I did with a year of heavy squats and deadlifts alone. They are all great!
