My "favorite" things about baseball are 1) the fact that it could put an insomniac out light a light and 2) when football season starts in August, that way I have an alternative to watch (thank goodness!!).

Watching a starting pitcher make it through 8 (hopefully 9!) innings, walking off to a standing O
Watching the opposing team strike out swinging
Watching a reliever come in and do exactly what he's in there to do
Watching Prince Fielder try to turn an extra base

Always been a big Red's fan. Still am.

I didn't watch Baseball so much after they had the Baseball strike in 94-95

The last 8 years my brother-in-law, Donnie Murphy, has been a pro player so I have been more interested in the game. He's played for Minors and Majors for the Royals, the A's, the Oriole's, the Marlin's and Currently with the Cub's. He is on the Iowa Cubs minor league team trying to gain a spot in Chicago.

Every game has the potential of being completely surprising, I love the sport and love throwing the ball around with my family when I have time off. My worn glove is one of my favorite things, even if its only worth is sentimental. I love my Red Sox too :D
