Fab low cal, hi fibre snackbar for UK dietters!

I just went to Waitrose with the incentive of buying some of the new Kellogg's fibre plus bars. I looked at the pack and saw that they had 120 ish cals. 4 grams of fat and 5 grams of fibre per bar. I thought that was ok. Then, out of interest, I picked up a pack of Weetabix Oaty Bars (white or milk choc). Per bar they have 67 cals, 1.4grams of fat and 6.2 grams of fibre- product sold! I just hope they taste as good as they look- but for someone who always struggles to reach their fibre goal, (me) this is a godsend! They aren't huge, about the same size as a special K bar.

Btw, sorry for the slight discrimination of my topic title- but not sure if these are available in the US?

Anyway, just thought I'd share the good news! xxx

Thats a good change... i think. I used to eat a lot of the Alpen and Special K ones, ultimately though they are as much sugary goo as they are healthy - the 37g of sugar per 100g is really high and adds up. My post gym recovery snacks are now bananas and Food Doctor seed mix which do have more calories but also keep my appetite at bay for longer.

Well per bar they are 12 grams of carbs, 3 grams of which is sugars. I just had one, thought it tasted great- kind of like a flapjack! xxx
