I've been responding to a ton of topics about this over the past few months in the interest of helping others, so I finally put it all in a blog post. This outlines my experiences along with symptoms you should watch for. I don't want what happened to me during the ages of 19 - 35 to happen to anyone else.

Thanks for posting! I recently found out I have PCOS. I think I've caught it pretty early (age 23) so I can change my lifestyle now to prevent some things from happening. Your blog really hit home with me. Anything else you can share about how you fight it would really help.
