Just wondering what kind of reward system people have set up for themselves, if any? It can be a long journey so I reckon that some motivation is needed along the way!
I have been on the wagon (again!) for one week now, and I think I have actually turned a corner this time. I'm not just working on my weight, but my overall image and self-esteem...basically trying to be the person I have always wanted to be - hence my rewards are very image focused! Also not all goals are weight loss focused so that I'm not discouraged by plateaus...
Here is what I have been working with:
2 weeks of tracking, staying within calories (weekdays only, I loosen the reins slightly at the weekends) and working out at least 4 x each week: salon treatment (hair/nails/wax/facial)
1 full month of the above: nose piercing!
2 months of the above: new ear piercing
Under 154lbs: tattoo (love tattoos, always wanted one but I personally think that they look much better on a toned, muscular body than a flabby one!)
Comfortable UK size 10/12 = $500 on new clothes! (Brit living in Canada, hence the mixed measurements!)
So lets hear it! How do you say well done from me to me?
