Hi! I'm looking for some advice/tips about diet and the Insanity workout. My husband is in the 3rd week and it looks as though he's becoming a bit more defined his weight has stayed the same with the exception of going up a pound or two, but then dropping back down. Here's some info on him - He's 6ft, weighs 246lsb. Any tips on how he can improve his results? Oh, and here's a little bonus - My husband and I's progress so far - http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/896526-what-a-difference-a-year-makes

Don't pay any attention to the scale when doing Insanity. It is quite common to gain "weight" in the first few weeks of the program. Mostly it's water weight from the stress put on your muscles. I started Feb 18 and am finishing April 28, I have to redo a week due to a sinus infection that put me in bed for 4 days. This is what I can tell you so far.

I've gone from wearing 18 pants to a comfy 14 or a snug 12. My shirts are now L instead of XXL of XL. On the scale I have only lost 11 pounds, however, it looks more like 25 to 30. Most of the 11 pounds I have lost started coming off in the second month.

As long as he is eating healthy and at a deficit he will lose weight.

Scale means nothing. Take meaurements and body fat %. I have lost 0.8 pounds since starting Insanity, but have lost over 8.5 inches all over.
