Whats TDEE & Macros?

I can't remember them all but there are lots of things I don't know. What's shredding and cutting? and is it TDEE? and Macros? There is a lot about eating healthy and then it gets into terminology I don't know. If you can help it would be great. Also if you know of anymore I will run into on here you can add them in for me.

TDEE - total daily energy expenditure.
There are countless programmes on the net to calculate this including MFP.
Macros - Percentage of Carbs/Protein/Fats. So for example im on 40% fats, 30% protein and 30% fats every day to make up my calorie allowance.
Shredding/Cutting refer to going under your TDEE to lose body fat. Bulking refers to going over it in order to gain weight and muscle.

Thanks so much guys! I'm glad I have my own link to the road map now too! I went to find it for someone yesterday and could not find it.
There is a lot for me to think about now.. I guess I should try to lose fat before bulking up? or can I have 1 day fat loss one day bulking? will the body respond to that well? I am stumped on how to get the body I want. I just know I need to eat over TDEE and exercise. Lots to learn.

That, im afraid, would be totally ineffective. Choose one and stick with it.
What are your goals? You said you were going to be eating over TDEE and exercising so im guessing you are trying to add muscle?0 -

So maybe bulk up? If I cant do both I hope bulking up doesn't take too long? Maybe a month of really heavy lifting and then switch to fat loss? I really don't know how to go about getting ripped & losing that last 5lbs in fat (I don't have much fat to lose, just my l've handles and tummy)0 -
