Okay. I am new here. And I know it's been explained 100 times before, but the more I read, the more confused I get. When I entered my information for my goals, I put sedentary because I have a desk job. When it asked about exercise I put 60 minutes, 5 days a week. I have it set to the recommended one pound per week and it gives me 1300 net calories, and then it explains the net calories underneath it where it says, the more you exercise, the more you can eat. Soooo, if I go to fattofitradio.com I get a screenshot that looks like this....
Activity Level Daily Calories
Sedentary (little or no exercise, desk job) 1837
Lightly Active (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/wk) 2105
Moderately Active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/wk) 2373
Very Active (hard exercise/sports 6-7 days/wk) 2641
Extremely Active (hard daily exercise/sports & physical job or 2X day training, i.e marathon, contest etc.) 2909
I have read all about the TDEE -20% so which one do I use? Do I use the 1300 and eat back all my exercise calories or do I use the TDEE and eat approx 1800 calories every day, even on the days I don't workout? But, if I eat 1800 calories and then burn off 750 calories, the net is only 1050 and I'm reading that's too low.
PS...I am 47 years old, I weigh 184 and I'm 5'3"
Any assistance would be appreciated. I have read the "road map" but my goal if for weight loss as well as fat loss.
